The WRDT Joint Venture is delivering major water infrastructure works for Sydney Water along Lawson Road, Badgerys Creek, supporting the expansion of essential services across Western Sydney’s growth areas. The scope includes the construction and integration of large reinforced concrete structures, such as water storage tanks and associated civil assets, within a greenfield and highly coordinated construction environment. The works form part of Sydney Water’s broader program to increase network capacity, operational resilience, and long-term serviceability to meet the demands of the Badgerys Creek and Aerotropolis precincts.
Direct Inject were engaged to carry out dry structural crack repairs to an EST storage tank, followed by the injection of wet cracks identified after pressure testing of the structure had been completed. All repair works were undertaken in accordance with pre-determined and client-approved methodologies, ensuring compliance with project specifications and performance requirements
The requirement for our scope of work was well anticipated and planned by our client, allowing Direct Injects scope to be carried out quickly and to a high standard in isolation from other trades.
