Hand lancing provides a flexible method for localised cleaning, surface preparation and small-scale concrete removal. The compact equipment footprint allows work to be completed efficiently in areas that are difficult to reach with robotic or larger systems.
We operate both electric and wet-dump hand lances fitted with a range of nozzle options to suit different tasks. Barracuda and Raptor rotating heads are used for heavy cleaning and substrate preparation, fan jets are used for uniform surface profiling ahead of coatings, and pin jets allow controlled concrete removal where access is restricted
Cleaning and preparation of concrete and steel substrates
Surface profiling before the application of membranes or coatings
Localised concrete removal in confined areas
Tunnel and shaft work where equipment access is limited
Hand lancing allows crews to mobilise quickly, complete targeted work and clear the workspace for follow-on trades with minimal disruption. Its adaptability makes it well suited to constrained environments and areas where schedule pressure requires fast transitions between work fronts
