CONTACT GROUTING.

Contact grouting is used in tunneling and underground works to fill voids between a structure and the surrounding soil or rock. The process prevents water infiltration by sealing gaps and water paths and also enhances structural stability by ensuring proper load transfer and reinforces the interface to prevent settlement or movement.

Typical Applications
  1. Secondary and tertiary annulus grouting of segmentally lined tunnels and shafts.
  2. Back grouting of sub-surface cast in-situ structures (shaft linings, station box and basement walls and cast in-situ tunnel linings).

  • Sodium Silicate based grouts
  • OPC, HES, Ultrafine and Microfine Cements

LOW-FLOW INJECTION & JOINT SEALING.

Groundwater ingress through undgeround structures can cause corrosion, waterproofing failure, and structural damage. Even low-flow leaks often exceed strict inflow allowances, making sealing essential to ensure durability and compliance while preventing future costly repairs.

Typical Applications
  1. Gasket needle injection in segmentally lined tunnels and shafts.
  2. Wet crack injection
  3. Construction joint sealing (Incl. Grout tube injection)
  4. Injection of isolated seepage points (E.g. ground anchors, seacant pile and D-wall panel joints etc)

HIGH-FLOW GROUTING.

High-flow groundwater ingress through undrground structures can lead to rapid erosion, structural instability, and flooding, severely impacting safety and project timelines. Uncontrolled water can wash out fines, weaken foundations, overwhelm drainage systems and prevent works from progressing. Stopping high-flow ingress is critical to protect structural integrity, prevent costly delays, and maintain a safe working environment.

Typical Applications
  1. Grouting and injection at structural interfaces (E.g. tunnel portals, cross passage open ings, bases of retaining structures etc.)
  2. Grouting of lining penertations (E.g. earthing points, ground anchors etc).
