ERGO GO .

A flexible, rail-mounted hydro-demolition robot.

Overview.

Introduction

The Aqua Cutter Ergo is a compact, ultra-flexible hydro-demolition system designed for precision concrete removal in confined, difficult-to-access, or complex environments. Unlike traditional robotic cutters, the Ergo uses a lightweight tracked power head mounted on surfaces or structures, offering remote-controlled, high-pressure concrete removal in areas where larger robots cannot physically operate.

Technical overview

The Ergo system consists of a tracked Ergo Power Head paired with a control unit and high-pressure pump. It uses ultra-high-pressure water jets up to 2500 bar for selective and full-depth concrete removal. Controlled remotely, the Ergo Power Head is mounted to a fixed surface or attached to a Spine — a modular, multi-sectioned articulated support that allows vertical, horizontal, and overhead cutting without manual repositioning. The Ergo can also be adapted to bespoke scaffold-mounted guide rail systems engineered specifically for each job site, providing precision-controlled movement across walls, ceilings, columns, or curved surfaces. Operators program removal patterns, speeds, and oscillation through an intuitive user interface, achieving consistent results in confined or complex locations where full-size robots are impractical.

Typical Applications
  • Overhead removal in tunnels, ceilings, and soffits
  • Concrete repair around tight rebar arrangements
  • Surface preparation in highly restricted access areas
  • Selective removal inside culverts, tanks, or ventilation shafts
  • Structural rehabilitation in bridges, piers, and marine assets
  • Targeted removal around embedded elements like anchors or conduits
Why choose the ERGO GO

The Aqua Cutter Ergo is ideal for projects requiring high-precision concrete removal in areas inaccessible to conventional robots. Its ability to pair with the Spine or integrate with custom-designed scaffold guide rails gives contractors maximum flexibility to safely and effectively remove concrete in any orientation or geometry. Lightweight, transportable, and quick to set up, the Ergo reduces the need for manual hydro-demolition (hand lancing), improves operator safety, and ensures superior surface finishes without microcracking. For critical repairs, tunnel upgrades, and specialty infrastructure works, the Ergo delivers robotic precision and efficiency where larger machines cannot reach
